It was a great week and we really do thank Estelle for organising it for us
March 11th, 2010Ia Orana Estelle.
Raddison, Tahiti……couldn’t fault anything except the free internet in the rooms, the service to try and get it up was really prompt, but it just didn’t stay up.
The rooms were great, food beautiful, service excellent…..hard to fault and would have no hesitation in staying there again.
Relais Manana, Huahine……room had all you needed, it was really nice, BUT it had no air conditioning, only an overhead fan which wasn’t enough, hence the room was constantly very hot.
You could open the windows, but with no wire mesh, it meant we were carried away by the mosquitoes…….so sadly the heat and mossies resulted in not much quality sleep at night…..staff were really good, food not up to Raddison or Bora Bora standard, but certainly pretty good and we did enjoy touring the island.
Intercontinental Le Moana, Bora Bora….think this is the older Intercontinental, but it was still very, very nice……..everything was excellent…..room fantastic, food was brilliant, service was very good, outlook and facilities excellent and I got to lie back and relax.
The only(and minor) hiccup was that they hadn’t cleaned the fridge properly before we arrived and they tried to charge us for mini bar drinks that we didn’t have…….but it was sorted out quickly and with absolutely no fuss at all.
Overall I really couldn’t fault this place, a most enjoyable 3 days and wish it had been longer.
Our last night at the Sofitel in Tahiti was fine……room lovely, but we didn’t use any facilities so can’t comment any further.
It was a great week and we really do thank Estelle for organising it for us.
Hope this feedback is what she was looking for.
Regards,
Mac
