The valley of the Fautaua

The valley of the Fautaua is one of the most beautiful valley of Tahiti. Bordered by a varied and exuberant vegetation. The Fauatau was a famous river. It is rich with memories, romantic with Loti, the historic ruins of the fort and the terraces growing garden of the Governor.

It takes 2 hours to arrive at the top of the waterfall or a beautiful cauldron used to cool off and jumping several meters high.

It is mandatory to have a permit to enter the valley. These funds allow regular maintenance of the valley.

Climbing Mount Aorai

Some photos of the ascent of the second summit of the island of Tahiti: The Mount Aorai an altitude of 2066m.
It is a great race air without much difficulty, on a side trail and ridges leading to a spectacular view, the atmosphere transcendent own the high mountains.

The Aorai means “heavenly world.”
