Thank you so much for all the time and effort that you put into our trip

Good Morning Christophe,

Sorry for the e-mail that was just sent by mistake.

I just had to write and thank you so much for all the time and effort that you put into our trip, which turned out to be the perfect holiday! You never complained about my many questions and even took the time to call me several times. Your advice and help was invaluable, so I thought I would tell you a bit of what happened.

We arrived on time on the 11th…all our flights were on time, and Air Tahiti Nui was excellent. The sevice, especially on the way over, when the plane was not full at all, well it was just a great flight…meals and all!

We arrived at the Sofitel in Tahiti and I asked for a lagoon view, instead of the mountain view and the night guy wasn’t sure he could do it, but he gave us a room, but looked out the window and the view was covered by palm tress. So asked asked him for another room and we got a room with a great view of the pool and the ocean. Also, since they had the buy 2 nights and great one free deal…and we couldn’t do that as we were booked in at other hotels, I asked for a free breakfast for the one day, and they gave it to us. Nice hotel and the extra day was nice, but ready to leave after 2 nights. The Maitai Polynesia was more than we expected. The photos on the internet don’t do it justice. We got the best bungalow on the property (#10) as it was right on the beach and no OWB in front of us. The staff was excellent and my sister said one day I would like one of their t-shirts and that night we got back and there on the bed was a t-shirt in her size and one of those wrap around things. Also, another night they had a beautiful fruit platter, all wrapped up…excellent. We loved the location as we could easily walk to Matira Beach and we walked to the grocery store every morning to get those delicious chocolate croissants and a baguette. We also had pizza at La Bounty..excellent and went to Bloody Mary’s, and I tell you the Swordfish and Marlin tasted like steak. We also enjoyed the Bora Bora Yatch Club for a meal. Then we went to the Sofitel, and the staff there was the best I have ever encountered…and we visited the Intercontinental, which was being revonated..and surely won’t have wanted to stay there, the Hilton was OK, didn’t like the Pearl as the OWB was the only view you got from the beach…but as you said, the Sofitel was beautiful and the beach was awesome! We had a nice bungalow right by the small beach area (321), but I asked if we could be upgraded to a Beach bungalow and our third night they gave us 406, right on the beach…fantastic. Then I had written to all these places and told them my sister was paying for the trip and I wanted to make it special, and wanted an OWB with a unobstructed view of Tahiti…well we got the best bungalow on the property (217), so another upgrade….it was amazing, Christophe! Thank you so much for all the work you did to make it the perfect holiday…we would not have changed a thing…and the weather was great!

Thank you so much..and if I hear anyone who is going to Tahiti, I will surely recommend you. You were outstanding!

Thanks so much and all the best in this new year!

Steve
