Saturday, May 31st, 2008

The valley of the Fautaua is one of the most beautiful valley of Tahiti. Bordered by a varied and exuberant vegetation. The Fauatau was a famous river. It is rich with memories, romantic with Loti, the historic ruins of the fort and the terraces growing garden of the Governor.

It takes 2 hours to arrive at the top of the waterfall or a beautiful cauldron used to cool off and jumping several meters high.

It is mandatory to have a permit to enter the valley. These funds allow regular maintenance of the valley.
