Andy Irons won the Billabong Pro Tahiti
Monday, September 6th, 2010Andy Irons won the Billabong Pro Tahiti professional surfing tournament in Tahiti by topping American C.J. Hobgood in the final heat.
“I just fell out of the sky,” Irons said. “I thought my board was going to break.”
Irons reached the finals by getting past current ASP champion Mick Fanning, veteran Kelly Slater and up-and-coming tour rookie Patrick Gudauskas.
