Le Méridien Bora Bora's offers guests exclusive island accomodations with overwater and beach bungalows, each refined with French flair and Polynesian style, perched over the turqoise lagoon with glass-bottomed floors for an enduring view of the marine life below.
Le Meridien Bora Bora offers five categories of bungalows: Beach, Overwater, Premium, Pool Beach Suites and Pool Beach Villas. The resort has 99 air-conditioned bungalows, 85 of which are suspended over the water and 81 offer glass-bottomed floors for viewing tropical marine life.
All accommodations have French Polynesian decor and natural wood fittings, with decorative elements of coral and shell. Decks feature lounge chairs and direct access to the lagoon or beach. Beds are topped with mosquito netting and flanked by bedside tables. TVs offer cable/satellite programming, local and French channels, and CNN.
Bathrooms have separate tubs and showers and separate toilets. The tubs are situated under louvered windows, which can be opened for lagoon views. A drink and cold towel are provided on arrival.
Turtle Sanctuary
Centered within the resort's private inner lagoon, the Le Méridien Bora Bora's Turtle Sanctuary has become a haven for the endangered hawksbill turtles where guests are able to experience a swim with these magnificent creatures and learn about their marine life.

The bungalows provide an exceptionally warm welcome, with burnished hardwoods, louvered windows, thatched ceilings and earth-toned fabrics throughout. Discerning guests revel in the authentic Polynesian feel while appreciating modern touches such as direct dial phone, safe, satellite-television, CD, DVD and MP3 reader, minibar, and coffeemaker. Decked out with a dressing area, the spacious, air-conditioned bungalows are approximately 60 square meters. The bathrooms feature a full array of amenities plus a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. Each Beach Bungalow also offers its own private beach, with deck-chairs and hammocks available. While it is not possible to add an extra bed, Beach Bungalows can incorporate a convertible sofa to accommodate a third adult or a child.

In co-ordination with Bora Bora’s Ministry and the Delegation of the Environment, a team is devoted to the care of the marine turtle at the resort. This care center, located in the heart of the resort, is unique in French Polynesia.
The Kaïnalu Canoe Club is also unique to Le Méridien Bora Bora, which is the first hotel to reintroduce this traditional French Polynesia boat.
